Bonjour friends and family! Well....today is the big 8 mark for me!!! AHHHHH.....I can't believe it! We celebrated with the other Soeurs this morning by sitting in front of a cathedral and going on the inside. I may or may not have snuck a flier from it to put in my journal:) My coat kind of smells like cathedral urine smelling steps now....but that's okay because it is all part of the experience right?! Well...this week has been kind of a slow one...Soeur Clark has been really sick so we had to spend a day inside the apartment....all the missionaries have been getting sick lately; kind of a bummer. We saw some pretty interesting things this week too though. We were riding the metro on Wednesday night and we saw a guy wearing nothing but a vest, carrying a big box of fruit....hahaha and then we also saw a lady with a shaved head all except for a tiny ponytail at the top....kind of funny. We see the weirdest things on the metro! We don't have a lot of time today but I wanted to share a quick little experience that we had this past week. We were walking home on Saturday right before it was time for curfew and this Arab guy stopped us and asked us for directions to the nearest Carrefour store...so we gave him some directions and he saw our plaques and was like: "do you speak English?" And we were like "um......yeah", we're not supposed to contact men so it was kind of awkward for us....but anyways, we spent a long time talking about god and his beliefs....and he told us all about how he is Moroccan (I'm sorry, please don't judge my spelling!)....and how Moroccan's love Americans and he invited us over to talk more with him about our message at his restaurant another time. Kind of a weird experience but he was really nice. We got a cool referral for the elders even though we can't teach him....I love getting to meet all these people here. You never really know what to expect when youcontact someone!! Well I'm sorry this is a shorter and weird email....I love you all though and I hope you have a wonderful week!!!! Let me know if there is anything I can do for you! Love ya! Bonne Semaine!!! XOXOXO Bisous, Soeur Nelson
