Hey family and friends!I hope everyone had a good week and is lovin life...I love getting to hear from you all each week:) Well...Sœur Ficquet left us on Tuesday...we didn't end up driving away for her to miss her train. We didn't think President would be too happy about that. But I did write "Sœur Nelson is VERY mad" on her hand, and told her to show President and Sœur Babin. I don't know how well that went over...:) So, it has been just me and Sœur Tippett the past few days. Definitely a different feel after having three...but we are having a lot of fun! I cut Sœur Tippett's hair this week...not too bad:) I think she trusts me too much...haha!
So...funny story for you all! On Saturday, we had a youth activity with all the Jeune Filles (Young Women) to decorate some stuff for the primary. And two of the three girls were feeling a little sick...well, long story short...Yesterday in Sacrament meeting...they were supposed to have all the Young women and leaders and Sœur Tippett speak. Well, the two of them that were feeling sick didn't show up and so the Young Women's leader came up to me and asked me to talk for a few minutes about my experience in Young Women's. Oh my shoot! I didn't even know how to say Young Women in french before that!! Well...the good news is...I didn't throw up:) I went up and talked about how my mom was in Young Women's with me and how it gave me the opportunity to spend time with her, and I talked about how being with all the girls allowed me to feel the spirit stronger because it's not quite the same when you're with a bunch of boys:) The branch president thought that one was pretty funny! I shared Moroni 7:33...about how Young Women's showed me to rely on the Lord and how it gave me the preparation that I needed to serve a mission and someday teach my future kids. And I talked about how Heavenly Father is proud of the girls here in France who choose to go to Young Women's and be examples to the people around them...because they are example to me! Toutes les filles garder la foi!!!:) (All the girls keep the faith) It was pretty cool...I say that now because it is after:) One of the members in the branch that I love came up to me after and told me that I did wonderful and that I shouldn't worry about being perfect with the language...because the perfection will come at the end. And she said that my testimony really touched her! Love her!!!
We have been really busy the past few days. We contacted a lady named Jessica in Centreville the other day and had the opportunity to pray with her. We are supposed to be meeting with her tonight. The mission has given us a lot of rules to abide by because of all the crazy terrorist and strike stuff going on....so, finding and meeting ami's has been a little bit difficult. But we are doing awesome! Well...i love you all and hope you will have a great week this week!! I love you all and am praying for you! Thank you for taking the time to write me...I cannot tell you how much it means:) Talk to you soon!
