AHHHHHHH!!!!! It's December! That's SO crazy!!!Well...Bonjour!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Sister Ficquet and I went to a member's house for lunch, I received a letter in the mail, we contacted a lady on a bench, taught a crazy member who gave us cookies, got offered coffee by a muslim and then had an awesome member family bake us pumpkin pie and turkey for dinner! It was WONDERFUL! And to top it all off....I just found out that I am going to be an aunt! So many fun things to be grateful for!!
Well...Wednesday afternoon...all the missionaries in our zone met for district meeting to have Thanksgiving together. It was kind of funny because we had the turkey all set in the oven to bake for 2 hours....and by the time our district meeting was over Elder Wells walked in and said, "Someone forgot to turn on the oven..." So, we had to postpone our Thanksgiving lunch for 2 1/2 hours so that our turkey could cook and we could all eat together. It was nice because President Babin gave us an extra 1/2 hour of lunch time so that we could all be together. So, we just ended up going out on a mini exhange for the afternoon. I went with Soeur Kitchen and we talked to a bunch of ladies. We almost converted like 10 people but they were kinda busy at the moment. And then we all came back and had a wonderful meal together. It was very a different holiday not being with my family but it was wonderful to be with another family; full of missionaries and members. I am SO grateful for their awesome examples. And i am SO thankful for all of you!!! Thank you for everything that you do for me!
I am sorry this email is super short....Sister ficquet and I are actually heading up to a rendevous with a nun! Hahaha....how crazy is that?! Wish us luck! Well...I love you and I hope you have a wonderful week full of blessings. I am praying for you and I hope you know that I look up to you SO MUCH! Love ya!!!
XOXOXOXOXO
