Hey family and friends,
I am sorry I don't have a lot of time today....this whole P-day has been crazy!! This morning Soeur Back and I ran to get our groceries at a store closer to us....so we picked up everything that we needed...and when we when to pay for our food, we found out that they didn't take American cards. So, I had 20 euro in cash and Soeur Back had 10....but we were still 10 short...so, we ended up having to run 15 minutes down the street to get some more cash and then come back to pay. And then we went to the church to do emails before another rendezvous at 3...but my computer didn't work for 45 minutes! Us and the gréffier spent forever trying figure out the problem....so, I ended up sitting there forever praying for it to work....and it just miraculously sprang to life! It was a miracle. And then they elders came in needing to use the computers so I didn't have any time to do emails. So, then we came to the sketch internet café by our apartment and now here we are. It's been crazy! Kind of funny though because each week I pick a Christ-like attribute to work on and this week I chose patience...I think God has a sense of humor:)Anyways...this week was awesome! Soeur Back and I did it!!!! We surpassed our goal this week and ended up getting 22 LESSONS! It was so cool! Last night we were walking home...and we were 1 lesson away from having 21...and we just stopped and prayed that Heavenly Father would put someone in our path. And 2 mins away from our apartment, we ran into a girl who knew someone from the church and she let us talk with her for awhile and pray with her! It was a miracle! And then we ended up running into a member last night on our way porting, and she agreed to go out with us and we ended up giving away 2 Book of Mormon's!!! Miracles all around!! We also found 3 new ami's this week!! Wow....it was amazing!Another miracle....so, I got on my email today and got an email from Julie. One of my old ami's in Vannes...she has been emailing me ever since I left...but I opened my email this morning and she had sent me 2 pictures of her in a white baptismal gown!!!!! JULIE IS GETTING BAPTIZED!!!!!!!!! she set a date for June 7th:) I wish with all of my heart that I could be there for her baptism! She was my very 1st lesson!!! Ahhhh...I opened up the email and just started bawling and called Soeur Tippett!!! It was wonderful! I think she is my "friend" that I needed to come here to find. I wish so badly that I could be there with her! I love her SO much!!!So, it was pretty cool....one of our new ami's this week; we met her on the rue. We were walking around contacting and ended up contacting her. Her name is Halima. Her family is Muslim...but anyways, she told us how she didn't believe in her religion anymore and how she was looking for something more. It's super cool because we don't meet a lot of people who end up leaving Muslim culture. We ended up giving her a BOM and praying with her right there in the middle of the rue. After the prayer, she was so touched and started to cry. She gave us a big hug and we ended up having another rendezvous wtih her a few days later. She accepted a soft baptismal invite;) We'll see what happens!Yesterday, Soeur Back and I went to visit a less-active named Soeur Gigant and her son Gael that we see every week. We talked a lot about the Book of Mormon. It was kind of funny because Gael started to explain to me and Soeur Back that the Book of Mormon can act like a super 8 ball...he told us if we ever need an answer in life....just ask the question with all your heart to Heavenly father and showed us that we just need to hold it the BOM a certain way....and you blow it open and touch a verse and you will find your answer. Quite simple really! All the problems in life can be solved with the Book of Mormon;) Gael would be really good missionary!Well....I have to go. But here is a pic of the past week. Here is one that Julie sent me...;) I hope you all have a wonderful week full of miracles. Remember that Heavenly Father is always there and He will ALWAYS answer your prayers. I love you all!!! Bonne Semaine! XOXOXOXOXO Avec amour, Soeur Nelson
