I'm sorry to say that this email is gonna be a short one again. We've
had a crazy Pday and we don't have a lot of time for emails. We went
to a Harry Potter exhibition here in Paris today with a member named
Mariah that was visiting our Paroisse (ward) yesterday from Las Vegas. We
spent the day together today. I will attach a picture below. So, I'm
sorry I don't have a lot of time for individual emails. Thank you for
the letters though...they seriously mean the world to me!
So, yesterday was a kickbutt Sunday here in St. Ouen! We had one of
our newest Amis named Corinne come to church randomly. We have invited
her a few times but she kept telling us that she is too busy and that
she had to work. So,we were sitting there in Sacrament singing and the
door burst open and she walked inside!! My heart seriously just leaped
out of my chest! I haven't had a lot of my Amis come to church and it
was seriously a miracle to see her there! It was kind of hard though
because the only speaker she heard was American and she couldn't
understand anything he said (don't know how she understands me), but
she told us that hopefully it would be better the next
time😉....SUCCESS! We were able to give her a church tour and she
really liked it. The members were flocking around her,it was really
cool to see.
Um...we had our interviews with president this week. It was pretty
cool, we actually had a miracle right before. So, I will give a brief
run down of what happens because I don't have a lot of time...
So, we were in Paris meme getting lunch so that a we would be on time
to our interviews. And we decided to go to this super popular panini
place that all the missionaries love. You get a drink, panini and a
Nutella crepe for €4....it's really good and all the missionaries love
a good cheap French meal so voilà! Donc, we were sitting there eating
our giant panini' sand we were in the midst of reading the Book of
Mormon. Our zone leaders made a goal for all the Paris missionaries to
read the whole Book of Mormon in 6 weeks to invite a reverent mood for
this transfer. Sorry, I didn't mention that in my other emails. But
yeah so we're reading it all the way through but we need to read
around 16 pages everyday. So, we were sitting there in the panini shop
eating our food. We had two French Books of Mormon on the table that
we had been carrying and another two in English that we are reading.
So, there were four laying there....and we hadn't noticed this little
family sitting next to us watching us. There was two guys and a girl.
Well, long story short...the girl ended up asking us if we are Mormon.
And we were like "yeah"....and she said, "do you mind giving us a
brief explanation what you believe?"....oh la la! You should have seen
my face covered in Nutella! My jaw was hanging open and refused to
shut for a full 2 mins. I feel a bit bad bout that now. They ended up
being from Germany and asked the most inspired questions I had ever
heard! It was seriously AMAZING!!! We gave them 4 brochures and a Book
of Mormon and our emails. AND she prayed for us! It was the coolest
experience ever! I can't even explain how fantastic it was to talk to
them. Morale of the story is....if you ever feel the impression to eat
a panini...take a Book of Mormon along with you! Miracles will follow.
Well...I am sorry this email is uber weird! I promise to write my
emails during the week this week so they're better. But I love you
all! Bon Semaine et je vous aime!!!
