Bonjour to all....
Well....this week was kind of crazy.....i am sorry in advance that i don't have a lot of time...i will try and write as much as i can. I ended up getting locked out of my email today because of a sketch internet cafe and so i don't get a lot of time....but anways....
First off...i saw 3 nuns this week....ahhhhhhhh it was so cool....one was riding a bike...and the other two were chillin outside of a chapel/cathedral thing...i tried to get a picture but i didn't want to be too obvious. Anyways...so that was awesome. We have been teaching Cameron a lot...her family has been giving her a hard time with baptism...so we are having to push back her date...but she is still going strong. She loves the story of Joseph Smith...we gave her a book of Mormon image book to help her better understand, and we try to read it with her every week....she has this study method where she has a specific color to highlight all the important things...haha, but she basically just ends up highlighting everything...i love it. She is awesome. She quizzes me ans Soeur Clark after we read to help us better understand the scriptures....she is a pretty boss 9 year old.
We also had the STL's move in this past week...we had to say good-bye to Soeur Hawkes and Soeur Walton....we went to drop them off at the gare and help them with their luggage on Wednesday morning...and as we were on the metro waiting to get off...a whole bunch of people piled on right before our stop...and I ended up getting shoved to the back of the metro and had to push people out of the way and shout 'PARDON' right as the metro door was closing...and the suitcase that i had with me ended up getting stuck and i tackled a man to make it off in time...i can't really do the experience justice...but the overall message is that my tiny little body pulled a 50 pound suitcase through a herd of crazy french people on the metro, and i was able to pull it up a flight of stairs...you should have seen it...you would have been in awe.
Soeur Clark and I did a lot of porting this past week...we actually had a really cool experience on Friday...we were walking around one of the areas that we haven't spent a lot of time in...and it was freakishly cold outside; nobody was around or really wanting to listen...and so what did we do?....we prayed! We said a pretty legit prayer...and just stood there for a minute afterwards, waiting for the magic to sink in...and BAM...we decided to try some cool little random houses nearby. We did the whole neighborhood...and guess what happened?Well...nobody was really interested....and so we were kind of bummed....and so what did we decide to do?.....we prayed!....and we waited for the magic to sink in again...and we saw some other cool houses that kind of stuck out...and we were like 'pourquoi pas?'.(why not)..and the first house we knocked at, had these random little garden statues out in the front all over the grass...kind of like the ones in Narnia with the crazy witch....yeah, so we knocked at this door...and this lady answered and we told her why we were there and she looked at us really weird and was like 'okay...you can come in'....and we just kind of stared at her for a minute and then we came to our senses....and we had an awesome lesson with her. AHHHHHH it was super cool. We talked with her all about why we are here and our message and she even invited us to come back again...it was pretty legit. I don't think we would have found her if we hadn't been praying so hard....just goes to show that you need to take a few steps into the darkness before you can find a little light. #ether12:6
Well...i am sorry i don't have more time...there is a creepy french guy who just sat down next to me and i think i should probably move....but i love you all...and i am always here if you need me. I LOVE YOU AND HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK....
XOXOXOXOXO
