Est-ce que vous avez passé une bonne semaine?
Hey so, sorry I have been a slacker about writing lately! We never get
time to write. Last week for P-day, our iPad wifi stalled and so I may
have sent one of my drafts. Sorry bout that! AWKWARD. Anyways, this
past week was kind of a tough one. Honestly, I can't believe it's
Monday again. I feel like there are some days where the time flies and
then there are others where time stands still.
We have been doing a lot of work trying to find less-actives in the
ward. It's really hard because it takes forever for us to get out to
the Ville, and by the time we find the batiments, we realize we need
to have a code to get past the sonnerie to get inside. Biggest pain in
the derrière!! It's been pretty cool to see just how amazing Heavenly
Father is and how He answers our prayers. Every time we have come
across a sonnerie this past week, we automatically stop and say "let's
pray...". And the miraculously, someone will come out of the batiments
or walk by and unlock the door. We look like major creepers sneaking
in behind them, but it's works wonders. I feel like my testimony of
prayer has really grown since I have been here in France. There is a
quote that one of the missionaries wrote in my planner that I love
that says: 'The distance between you and your Heavenly Father is he
distance between you're knees and the floor'. I find my days going by
as a constant prayer. I don't think they ever really end.
So, it was kind of funny...today Soeur Ellis and I went by Notre Dame
and the Lock bridge. And we were walking around just taking pics, and
we heard someone yell "Hey Sisters!"....we were totally freaked out!
We turned around and saw the entire guys BYU tennis team and coach
coming towards us. I'm not gonna lie, I felt real awkward standing
around a bunch of return guy missionaries. We talked to them for a
long time and ended up taking a pic. She is going to be sending it to
my mom. Pretty cool! It's been a pretty fun day:)
We did another Livre de Mormon activity this week. It was pretty good.
Soeur Simpson and I were over the tables and kept running back and
forth grabbing more books. It was pretty successful!
Everything has been good. We have been doing a lot of finding and
contacting. We're trying to work more with the members to become more
united in the missionary work her in St. Ouen. Missionaries really
can't do this work without them. Well....that's about it for today. We
have zone conference Wednesday and we will also be doing our
exchanges. I'm going to be spending some time with Soeur
Tippett...just like old times:)
I hope you all have a fantastic week! Je vous aime! Let me know if
there's anything I can do for You! You know where to find me!!
Bonne Semaine!
