Bonjour ma famille et mes ami's!!!
Hey everybody! I am sorry, once again this email is going to be a short one. So, we found out transfers on Saturday...Soeur Ellis and I will be staying together for another transfer:) WOOT WOOT!!! We are both pretty excited about that. Our District Leader, Elder Oviatt will be leaving this Wednesday, so we will be receiving another elder here in St. Ouen. We found out that there are going to be around 11 elders coming in and 1 soeur. SO crazy!
Well, yeah...so, that's the exciting stuff for transfers. Soeur Ellis and I were both pretty sick at the beginning of this week. So, it has been kind of a tough few days. Soeur Bell and Soeur Kitchen came on Thursday so that we could all do our legality together on Friday. It was so fun to be able to spend the day with them. We ended up going all the way to Le Vesinet to get our Titre de Sejour and they ended up not even being ready....but, we still got to spend some time together. I love Soeur Bell SO much!!! I will try and send some pics. There's not a ton of time to write today. But we had our last BOM activity and we ended up getting a ton of referrals from it! It was awesome!! President Babin showed up a little bit later and actually ended up buying us frozen yogurt because we were all sweating in the heat. It was heavenly:) We also had a Soirée on Friday night with members and ami's. A few missionaries bore their testimonies and both President and Soeur Babin spoke about the Book of Mormon and the blessings that come from reading it. It was pretty cool because just the day before, Soeur Ellis and I had given away a Livre de Mormon to our ami Corinne who is struggling to act on her faith...and we were able to bear testimony of the wonderful blessings that have come in our lives because of it. She told us that she would start reading it. It was seriously a miracle.Soeur Ellis and I ended up teaching Ami's class yesterday in church. We taught about honesty. We did a pretty killer job I think. We made Elder Oviatt (our DL who is leaving) help us because it was his last week. We started off by having him come in front of everyone and we gave him a tic-tac and after he put it in his mouth we told him that we had actually found it on the floor in the bathroom. His face was priceless:) All our ami's were laughing so hard! Afterwards we tried asking him if he wanted another one and we promised that it was clean, be he just kept refusing. No matter how convincing we tried to be...he didn't trust us. We pointed out how important it is to be honest with those around us so that those we love the most, will know that they can depend on us. It was super awesome! We got a new ami at church yesterday too. She is from Greece. We are actually heading over to her house here in a few minutes.
Here are some pics of Sacre Coeur...we visited today for P-day...it was beautiful! I loved it...we got to take a minute and say a little prayer in the cathedral. Classic!:)Well, I love you all and I hope you have a fantastic week! I love this gospel and I am so grateful for the joy that it brings me and my family! Thank you for all your love and support! Bonne Semaine
