Hey everybody!
I hope you all had a wonderful week and a good general conference.
Soeur Ellis and I and most of the wards here in Paris were able to
watch conference all day Sunday at the Versailles. I loved it! We
didn't get to watch all the sessions, but from what I got to
watch...it was wonderful! It reminded me of Mosiah chapter 2 when all
the people gather around to hear the words of King Benjamin. It also
reminded me of the importance of having an open heart in tune with the
spirit. The spirit can't enter our heart if we aren't willing to let
him in...
I don't have a lot of time again today...but this past week, Soeur
Ellis and I were able to do our legality with a bunch of the other
soeurs. Soeur Bell stayed with us again! It was awesome! In was able
to pick up my attire de Sejour and am not officially legal for another
year here in France! Woot woot! Looks like I won't actually be coming
home in twelve weeks like my itinerary says...sorry!
After legality, a few of us went into Paris to grab a panini for lunch
and Soeur Bell and I ran into Soeur Erickson and Soeur Stevens from
our MTC district. They came to do their legality too! Haha, it was fun
to all be together again. Brought back some fun memories when we were
all together! I will attach some pictures below!
We also had one of our less actives Soeur Charline went into the
hospital because of a health condition...so, we spent a few days
visiting her in a sketch French hospital. We surprised her one
afternoon while she was in the bathroom brushing her teeth; Soeur
Ellis and I snuck in and put a blanket on her bed, with popcorn and
set up our iPads to watch the movie Le Rétablissement...so when she
walked out of the bathroom...we yelled, "nous sommes à le
cinéma!"...haha, she was so happy she started crying.
Well, I'm sorry I don't have more time. Today has been crazy! We were
able to go see Château de Vincennes, but it was pretty faraway and we
have some planning to do so we don't get a lot of time for emails. But
I love you all and hope you have a great week!
Miss you!
XOXOXO
Bisous,
