Bonjour Ma famille!!!
How is everyone doing??? I cannot describe to you how wonderful it was to get your emails:) And family thank you for sneaking in those letters...I waited at least three days to open the first one. I wait to read them until i'm in bed...it's like a reward to myself after a long day.
Class is good...i'm in there for at least 11 hours a day. It's pretty tedious. We spent an a half an hour trying to kill a fly the other day. So, that should tell you how much fun it is.
My companion is named Soeur Bell...she is from Washington D.C. She is 5'10...I barely come to her chest. We get stopped all the time for pictures...we are a pretty funny pair. The food here...well, let's just say I am craving mcdonalds and cafe rio. I don't like to eat junk food late at night tho...and that is pretty much the only time i have to myself. We get in around 9:15 every night and are expected to be writing in our journals and reading our scriptures by 10. So, you should all be very proud...i took my first 5 minute shower the other night.
My companion is very good at the language...and well, i'm not. It is very humbling. I am trying my best...and hopefully with time I improve. Your prayers would be very much appreciated. I'm sorry I don't have much time to write...I tried to get everyone in.
The MTC is tough....I am doing what I can, but it is extremely hard. I heard a quote the other day that i really liked....it said: "there is no growth in a comfort zone, but there is also no comfort in a growth zone." So, I just keep reminding myself that I'm here for a reason...and I need to just forget myself.
I love you all and keep you in my prayers! I would love to hear from you whenever you get the chance...Au Revoir!
